Help Mark Reddington Recover After His Bone Marrow Transplant

Our dear friend, Mark Reddington, has just faced one of the biggest challenges of his life: a bone marrow transplant. After months of uncertainty, endless hospital visits, and incredible courage, Mark successfully completed his transplant and is now beginning the long road to recovery.

For those who know Mark, you know his strength and kindness are unmatched. Mark shows up for others without hesitation, always willing to lend a hand or words of encouragement. Now it’s our turn to show up for him.

Recovery after a bone marrow transplant is not easy. Mark faces a lengthy healing process, strict medical care, and ongoing treatments. The physical and emotional challenges are immense, but so are the financial ones—hospital bills, medications, follow-up appointments, and everyday living expenses add up quickly.

We want to make sure Mark can focus entirely on healing without the added stress of financial hardship. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward supporting Mark’s recovery and ensuring he has the care and stability he needs during this critical time.

Mark has already shown so much resilience and bravery throughout this journey. Let’s rally around him with love, support, and generosity, just as he’s always done for others.

Hello S.F. Celtic community!! We will be having the 3rd annual Adam Tabak memorial Alumni game followed by some libations & celebrations to share club memories and connect. The field will be confirmed in the coming days and we will update once it is confirmed.

Also part of Alumni weekend on Saturday 2/24: Golf game in the morning followed by a casual, or rowdy night out at the Abbey tavern. If you are interested in golfing please responded in the comments section.

On February 27th, 2022, SF Celtic Soccer Futbol Club will be hosting a ‘Celebration of Life’ Memorial Soccer Game for Adam Tabak at Beach Chalet at 2pm PST. For those of you that never met Adam, he was a San Francisco native, a long-time Celtic player (after successful stints at Hawaii Tsunami, UC Santa Barbara, Cal Poly, and the Greeks). Above all Adam was a great guy and had a passion for soccer (and scoring goals). He is survived by his wife Gabi, and three children who will all be in attendance at the game. The game will be current SF Celtic players vs. SF Celtic Alumni and Community players. The game whistle will be blown at 230pm and right after, the players from both teams will do a ‘Moment of Silence’ for Adam. The game will be played over two 30-minute halves. After the game, will be walking over to Park Chalet for food and beverages. If you cannot attend, you can visit the GoFundMe page for Adam (link included below).

Entry to the pickem costs $40. $20 dollars is automatically placed on the US to win the tournament (aka donated to Celtic as a fund raiser) and $20 dollars goes into the prize pool.

To enter the pickem, you must send $40 before the start of the first game. Once the first game starts, all unpaid entries will be removed and not eligible for the prize pool. Unfortunately there will be no exceptions. Payment can be sent by venmo to -Henwood, paypal to [email protected], or paid by cash in person (please include team name). A confirmation email will be sent.

The prize pool will be distributed as accordingly:

First place: 60%

Second place: 25%

Third place: 15%

In the event of ties, they will be distributed evenly among the tied participants.

To clarify - a single entry consists of two stages: (a) the group stage and (b) the knockout stage where your choices are made at the conclusion of the group stage. Details are of course listed here (points per correct pickem etc):

SF Celtic March Madness Fundraiser!

Hello SF Celtic Family,
We will be having our annual fundraiser for NCAA March Madness. The donation is $40 per bracket. Half of which goes to SF Celtic as they make their move back to the SFSFL Premier. The other half will be going to prizes.

The prize breakdown will not be fully determined until the first March Madness game. Prize breakdown will be based on the total number of entries. This fundraiser is open to all SF Celtic supporters so please feel free to share with friends and family. Payments made by Venmo:
