As I Looked Around The Gym...Merv's Smile Beamed down as Each and Every Participant could AGREE on the Importance of His Works and Stories he put into ALL of Our Lives! I take this from My Lesson Learned from Merv...Teach One Show One Be One!!!

Bay Area OG Run Family...

I'd like to take this time to APPLAUD and Recognize OUR very OWN, Mr. Harold Keeling for being the upcoming Recipient of the Humanitarian Award presented by Santa Clara Univeristy. This Award acknowledges Harold's Hard Work to Give Back to The Community and Helping others not only in Atlanta, GA where he runs The Ruby Rowley Residence Group Home but to The City of San Francisco as well with Hosting such a Fine Event as The OG Run in Lakeview where he grew up!

Not Only have I had the Privelidge to watch him grow into such a Great Gentleman but to see The Excitement in his Eyes, Smile and the Hours and Hours of Phone Conversations from the beginning of picking the date to hold the event up to the hundreds of phone calls to Each and Everyone back home in the Bay of Announcing the Time and Dates. It's ALMOST like watching that 18 year old looking forward to Graduating from Abraham Lincoln High School and choosing to "Take His Talents" (Not To MIAMI...LOL) but to Santa Clara! It has been My Honor to Ride His Shirt Tail ALL of My Life to Follow into his Footsteps, to wanting to further My Education to Chaing My Dream of Becoming a Professional Basketball Player (even if it was overseas...it was a Dream Come True)!

Each and Every Year, even though it's NOT Financially, we have ENJOYED to give Back to The City to see SMILES, HUGS, LAUGHS, and TEARS as we sit back and watch Friends and Families come together from ALL over the City to Share Memories from Elementary to High School and College. Thanks to Woodrow Wilson, MacAteer, Lowell, Washington, Riordan, S.I., Jefferson, Westmoor, Mercy, Balboa, Mission, Phillip Burton, Galileo, and Lincoln High Schools for Your Continous Support! And the following Neighborhoods: Lakeview, Filmore, Hunter's Point, Top of The Hill Daly City, Portreo Hill, and The Avenues! If I've missed anyone Please Please Please forgive my Absent Mind right now but KNOW THAT From Deepest In Our Hearts...WE LOVE YOU!!! WE LOVE YOU!!! WE LOVE YOU!!! For IF It wasn't for YOU!!! There wouldn't be an BAY AREA OG RUN!!!
