New penalty for insulting the referee: solitary confinement.

The former prisoners’ cafeteria will be repurposed to sell burgers, curry chips, Taytos, and Lucozade.

An agreement has been reached with the National Park Service to bring Gaelic games to one of the most iconic locations in the world.

The San Francisco GAA is proud to announce that select matches this season will be played on Alcatraz Island.

Golden Gate National Recreation Area Superintendent David Smith, a GAA fan, shared: "Usually I have to take a boat to Treasure Island to see a match, I’ve always thought it would be incredible to host a game at Alcatraz."

Chairperson Seamus Collins added: “Tour the island, watch a match, have a bit of craic! What more could you want?”

San Francisco Makes History: Irish Cultural District Approved for the Sunset — San Francisco GAA The SF Board of Supervisors unanimously voted to establish an Irish Cultural District in the Sunset neighborhood — a landmark moment recognizing generations of Irish heritage, and a milestone for Gaelic sports in the Bay Area.

We’re delighted to announce our special guest speaker, Pauline McCarthy from St. St.Ailbes in Limerick Camogie, who will join us for the USGAA Camogie Development Webinar.
