We are bringing the full force of the Urban Prodigy family to the STARLINE. The night features an elite roster of talent including Chiller L.E.O., Simonoto, Charles Simon Music, Nathan X Moody, Erth Angel, Ali-David, Thaillnai, Stephon Mills, Papi Grande, Ashley Acorn, Sa-Lanea, and Delaray!
The night will be curated by Disc Jockeys - Simon Says () and with even more surprises in store throughout the night. We are keeping the atmosphere electric with live jams, raffles, and elite eats by Sistas Wings. This is pure community energy.

The FILM:
“Awake Eyes” is a reflective musical documentary (short). The film addresses many realities of Black and African American communities, it’s culture, as well as heavily focusing on the African American women left scorned due to police brutality of the black man. The film tells the story primarily through live documented footage, dance and reflective visualizations and of course music.

INTRODUCING Darius R. Parker‼️
Darius Rashad Parker Is a Q***r Black Scholar, Activist, Poet, and Performer born and raised in Chicago, IL. Darius is a graduate of Northern Illinois University where he received his Bachelor’s in Journalism and a minor in Black Studies.
Darius’ teaching, research, performance, and activism has grown out of his commitment to social justice, focusing on arts, culture, race and gender inequities in education, and performance art.
He is particularly concerned with the relationship of educational practices, and the politics of Q***r & racial identities and the intersections between community and academia.
As of late Darius has led multiple workshops and Think Tanks on Anti-Racist Education and on how educators can show up at their best for students.
Darius received his Master’s Degree in Critical Ethnic Studies from DePaul University in the Spring of 2020. Where he previously served as an adjunct Professor in the Peace, Justice and Conflict Studies Department.

This show is about alignment, trust, and what happens when artists move with intention instead of isolation, or disregard for one another.
