Helllooooo, I’m Frances James (she/they), the founder of The Happy Camps!🌈🤸🏽‍♀️

Born from my love of nature and passion for camping, I started this adventure to create a space where q***r and BIPOC adults could reconnect with nature, their inner child, and each other🫱🏾‍🫲🏽

Founded on the realization that adults like me often lack the knowledge, resources, and safe spaces to explore their playful and adventurous sides freely, my goal is to create that memorable space outdoors for y’all!🏕️

Outside of The Happy Camps, I work at an environmental non-profit, serve as an outdoor leader/event curator with Outdoor Afro and Sierra Club, and am a fitness instructor in San Francisco🫡🏋🏽‍♀️
