November 2024 marks 10 years for me since I started my career as a Certified Personal Trainer. When I took my certification course 10 years ago I wasn’t at all sure I’d be able to make a go of this. But as soon as I passed my test and started working with guys in the gym everything started to fall into place and it seemed this was what I was meant to do. 10 years later I can honestly say I love my job. I especially love the relationships I’ve developed with my clients. I’ve had the pleasure of working with many amazing people who worked hard to achieve their goals. I’m so grateful for each and every one of them for putting their trust in me and for showing up to do the work. I wish I could include them all but here are some pics of the guys who have been with me the longest and with whom I’ve shared the biggest success stories. Today was a good day of training at . I’ve been feeling a little unfocused and unsure of my training approach lately. All that changed once I got under some heavy(ish) weight for some squats. As it says on the wall “shut up and train”. For me that means stop second guessing myself and just do the best I can today.

A look back on 2023. It was a great year at MetalBob Training. I had a full roster of training clients all year long with lots of new meat for me to sink my claws into. I hosted a very successful deadlift competition at Bearrison Street Fair. I competed at IPL World Powerlifting Championship in Bench Press and won a couple medals.. I had one of my reels go viral. I invested in some hot new branding merch with “MetalBob Training” fans. I kept my weight training consistent and intense all year and now I’m looking forward to another full year with new goals in 2024. Thanks for following. Happy new year. #2023
