Congratulations to Jorge Alberto Hernández of Mexico 🇲🇽 who completed the 14-mile Four-Islands marathon swim in a time of 05:48:29 (unofficial, pending ratification).
The swim encompasses Yerba Buena, Alcatraz, Angel Island and Treasure Island.
Jorge completed the 10-mile Round-Trip Angel Island and Catalina Channel in 2025. Next up, the English Channel in July!

It’s a sign! Lauren is training for Tsugaru Straight - the last swim to complete her Oceans Seven. The Itsukushima is visiting in San Francisco.
Anna is in town from Melbourne, Australia and was able to an Alcatraz Escape swim in. Conditions were PERFECT with 60°F / 15°C water temps and zero wind. A quick and lovely swim in under 40 minutes.
Bridge-to-Bridge 10km in 90 minutes? Yes! A solid flood tide gave a fab and fast push on a ☀️ Friday. Rod joined us this week from Washington and was able to get a couple of solid swims in. 58.5°F water temps.
