Hello San Jose PAL Youth Football and Cheer Families !

Youth football programs often require volunteer hours from participating families, typically ranging from 6 to 15 hours per season. These hours are crucial for the program's operation, as many youth football organizations are run entirely by volunteers

🔹 Why Volunteer?

Program Support and Volunteering is essential for youth sports organizations and the help of parent participation to run the program smoothly.

Participating families, each season help with Volunteer hours ranging from 6-8 hours.

Home games require the most help and away games is limited to MPRs.

🔹 Community Engagement

Volunteering helps families connect with others in the program and become more involved in their child's activities and it contributes to our community and our youths.

🔹 Volunteer BUY-Out $100

Don’t have time to volunteer? We offer an opt-out option where families can pay a fee instead of volunteering.

🔹 Example of What Counts as Volunteering?

Game Day Roles: Examples include field setup, chain gang, concessions, and other game-day support.

Team Support: Examples include team parent, snack coordination, and other team-related tasks.

Organization-Wide Support: Examples include fundraising, event planning, and administrative tasks.

We will be having 4 home games this year and home games require more volunteers. Away games is only MPRs. Please help get them hours in where you can.

2025 San Jose Blitz Tackle Football Seasons starts TOMORROW!

We look forward to meeting you all tomorrow at PAL Stadium to kick off our new season.

All players will meet on the PAL football field and will go to their respective coaches and team.

📣 Registration is still open for a while and it’s $350 a player. You may make two payments of $175.00 and apply car wash ticket sales towards your registration fees. ( Cheer is $160, plus uniform ( Jamz camp is Optional)

🔹 What to have ready at practice:

Cleats, Water, Comfortable clothing, Mouth guard (PAL has if needed) Please be on time at 6pm ready to go in line on field.

🔹 Must be completed to practice:
Registration and Physical competed in 2025

👨‍⚕️Dr. Shahab will be onsite at 5:30pm in the pal office for physicals for $25

*ALL players and cheer must have an updated 2025 physical on file to participate.

Welcome to the 2025 Blitz Football and Cheer Season!

Monday will be our first practice on July 14th, 2025

🔹Practice will be held at PAL Football Stadium from 6pm to 8pm, Monday through Friday.

🔹Players and cheerleaders should be on the field before 6pm and ready to start conditioning.

🔹Please make sure your athlete wears comfortable clothing and tennis shoes (or cleats for football), has on sunscreen and brings plenty of water to practice.

🔹Parent orientation will be next week on Wednesday July 16th at 6pm at PAL

Physicals must be turned in for football players and cheerleaders to be on the field.

👨‍⚕️Dr. Shahab will be at the field Monday at 5:30pm if you need to have a physical completed. Cost is $25, cash or Venmo only.

Other important notes:

Parents/Spectators are not allowed on the field. Only board members and coaches are allowed on the field.

Parents/spectators can watch practice from the bleachers or on the track.

We are excited for this new season! We look forward to meeting everyone!

📣 Having a hard time getting an appointment scheduled? We will have a physician on site!
