WVDC Senior Spotlight - Francesca🌟🩵

Congratulations to our senior team member Francesca, graduating from Westmont High School. Francesca began dancing at five years old with hip hop being her favorite style. Trips to Whole Foods with her classmates during dance breaks are top of the list of Francesca's favorite memories. In addition to her time at WVDC, Francesca was a busy athlete as a member of both the Westmont volleyball and track & field teams. We are excited to see Francesca begin her next chapter this fall at the University of California Davis seeking a Bachelor's in Nutrition.

WVDC Senior Spotlight - Elise🌟🩵

Congratulations to our senior team member Elise, graduating from Prospect High School. Elise began dancing at 4 years old, and as she grew in her training, Lyrical became her favorite. Elise loved spending time with her teammates each year at nationals and has fond memories of being able to cheer on her friends during the event. Elise kept busy outside of WVDC as member of her school's Robotics Team ad the society of Women's Engineers (SWE). Elise also volunteered at a coding camp for kids and is an award winning hacker!

We are excited to see Elise begin a new chapter this Fall, majoring in Mechanical Engineering at De Anza College, with plans to then transfer to a 4 year university.

It was a pleasure to welcome home WVDC alum for a Contemporary workshop with our competitive team dancers! Thank you Marcello for your artistry, inspiration and nuggets of knowledge you shared with our dancers!

WVDC Senior Spotlight - Madison🌟🩵

Congratulations to our senior team member Madison, graduating from Notre Dame High School. Madison began dancing at three years old and while training in multiple styles, lyrical was always her favorite. Aside from dance, Madison holds a leadership title at Notre Dame, is an active participant at her church, St. Clares and a member of the youth group Watermark. Through her journey with WVDC, Madison has loved sharing the stage with such talented dancers and holds many memories of laughter and fun with her teammates. We are excited to see Madison begin her next chapter this fall at the University of California Santa Cruz (Go Banana Slugs!!!) with a major in Business Management & Economics.

Strike a pose! Picture Day is tomorrow, May 30th at Now & Forever Studios in Los Gatos. Dancers are to arrive ‘PHOTO READY’ at least ten minutes before their scheduled time, dressed in their costume, with the required tights and shoes, as well as hair and makeup done. This is an exciting time for our families as we countdown to recital week!

WVDC Senior Spotlight - Tara🌟🩵:

Congratulations to our senior team member Tara, who graduated from Saint Francis High School. Tara began dancing at 5 years old, loving jazz and hip hop. Attending nationals and spending time with dance friends are the memories that Tara holds closest to her heart from her time at WVDC. Despite maintaining a full dance schedule, Tara remained deeply involved in her school community. She was an active member of both the Psychology Club and Service Club, while also dedicating time to volunteering at a local hospital. In addition, Tara earned membership in both the National Honor Society and the World Language Honor Society.

We look forward to seeing Tara soar in a new adventure this fall, studying Cognitive Sciences at the University of California Los Angeles.
