Club practice around Thanksgiving! Our club members improved on their in-bout footwork and concluded with some free bouting. Continuing to watch these fencers have a great time is a such pleasure!🤺🤺❤️

In the Local November All Weapon Tournament, Basis Fencing Club Advisor Zhijun Chen won second place in DIV III Mixed Epee! Congratulations! 🥳🥳🥳🎉🎉🎉🎉

Andrew Liu (12th grade) wins 3rd at AFM Super Regional SYC/RJCC/ROC Div1A/Vet in Junior men's epee! Congrats!! 🤩🥳🥳
During this week's fencing club meeting, our members continued to practice their fencing skills! The head coach leads them through footwork, ladder exercises, and fencing drills. New fencers learned new techniques and our experienced fencers open-bouted with each other. After working out hard, everyone shared refreshing drinks and sweet treats together! We're so excited to see our fencers grow. Good work to everyone who was here!! 🔥🤩😁
During this week's fencing club meeting, the members began practicing their fencing skills! The students performed various footwork on the ladder and our coaches taught our new fencers the basics. We finished off our meeting with open fencing. We can't wait to see these fencers continue improving their skills! 🤺🤺💪

In 2024 Fortune ROC/RJCC/RYC, fencers from the Basis Club won 4 medals in women’s epee events. Lauren Zhuang earned her B rating for her excellent performance in Div I-A Women's Épée.
