United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps Pacific Southwest Region 11

It is tradition to recognize the efforts of our cadets by leading them in a round of 3 cheers. On graduation day, our Review Commander led the contingent at Camp SLO in a round of 3 cheers following the recognition of our honor cadets and platoons.

Truly an awesome moment to experience from the audience’s perspective, and even more so by the cadets themselves! Bravo Zulu cadets!!

Sea Cadets interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement had the opportunity to attend Master-at-Arms Training, an immersive program designed to introduce cadets to the fundamentals of the profession.

During this phase of training, cadets learned the principles of traffic enforcement, including the procedures for conducting safe, professional, and effective traffic stops in a controlled training environment.

During the Petty Officer Leadership Academy last week, our cadets came together as one team to cheer on their shipmate as she finished the mile run of the PRT, even after they had just finished the run themselves.

It is this kind of camaraderie and sense of family that the Sea Cadet organization consistently strives to create among cadets. With the mindset of One Team, One Fight, our cadets across the contingent were able to support each other throughout the week to successfully maneuver through every obstacle and challenge thrown their way.

Our Navy League Cadets participating in NLCC Basic Medical Training were immersed in the world of emergency medical care for a week at Camp San Luis Obispo. In this part of training, our cadets learned about trauma assessments and how they are conducted in the field.

In any secondary trauma assessment, emergency medical providers are trained to look for DCAP-BTLS in every part of the body: Deformities, Contusions, Abrasions, Penetrations/Punctures, Burns, Tenderness, Lacerations, & Swelling. This is what our cadets are singing as a cadence while marching to their next evolution!
