I feel like I’ve never properly introduced my dog, Coconut, so here’s a little bit about her:

Coconut is an Australian Kelpie. She is a working/ sheep herding dog and thrives off physical/ mental activities and stimulation. She is an amazing teammate/ service dog.

I got her when she was a year and a half approximately and have had her for 15/16 months.

Her favorite things include:
•skateboarding
•training with mom
•climbing trees
•hide and go seek
•piggyback rides
•swimming

Watching her overcome her struggles and insecurities is really inspiring. It’s crazy how much something can grow if you give it the right amount of water, food, attention, and LOVE.

Coco and I are committed to finding balance. Metaphorically and literally. Everyday, I try to do some type of functional balance training with coconut to improve our core strength as individuals and as a team.

What’s your favorite thing that your pet does?

I love when Coconut jumps into my arms. Sometimes after she’s done climbing a tree, she’ll trust fall into me and it makes my heart melt.

We started off boogie boarding together. I would hold the boogie board while she stood on it and surfed. Now, we’re paddle boarding together and she’s chill as a cucumber! I’m so proud of my lil coconut. We had a weekend of many firsts!
