Elvie Schooley
As an alumnus of Project Stand-Up for Veterans I am privileged to have had the opportunity to work intimately with Veterans and those who are forging the path to create more public awareness about this delicate population. Through this project I was given access to resources within the University and the surrounding Communities to increase my knowledge and understanding of the needs of Veterans and how to better serve those defined needs of the Veteran and their families.
I look to obtain employment serving the Veteran Population in Spring of 2014. At which time I hope to incorporate all of the knowledge and experience gained from the stipend program in serving the Veteran population.
