School may be out, but softball honors were still rolling in!

Congratulations to two of our seniors, Saylor and Ronee, for capping off their career at HCCS with All-State accolades!! 🥎

And, finally, we wrapped up one heck of an athletic year with our final event - the Blue & Gold game. 🏐

The boys took the sweep over the girls, but it really just had us excited for what’s coming up next year for Rams athletics! We look forward to defending our state championships, making the post-season in several sports, welcoming new and returning faces, and maybe even adding a sport or two - who knows!

It was a great YEAR to be a Ram as we celebrated all of our middle school and high school athletes at the HCCS All-Sports Banquet.

Next year, we will break this event into two banquets for fall sports and winter/spring sports, but we had a blast celebrating everybody all together last night!

Our little school means that a big handful of our students participate in athletics and their talent is spread across multiple sports throughout the year. Their hard work keeps Rams Nation strong!

Congratulations and thank you to our athletes for a successful year of state championships, big wins, lessons learned, post-season play, and using their athletic abilities to honor and serve the Lord.

The Gary Megee Servant’s Heart Award was created to honor a student who exemplifies spiritual character, selfless service, compassion for others, and a heart that puts people first. Selected through a completely blind vote by teachers and staff, this year’s recipient stood out for living out those qualities daily.

What made this first year especially meaningful was that, after tallying up all of the votes, the award went to Mr. Megee’s grandson, Brenin — a young man who so clearly reflects the same kindness, humility, faith, and servant-hearted spirit.

We are proud to have student-athletes of strong, Godly character as part of Rams Athletics!

This team hit the ground running this season with a PACKED schedule! ⚾️

There were some highlights, some lowlights, some tough games, and some fun wins. This season built a ton of resilient Rams and the future looks bright!

Stryker and Colten earn a spot on our district’s first team, with Braden and Caleb A securing a spot on second team.

Caleb H, Kyle, Hudson, and Tony were also recognized for their work with an all-district honorable mention.

It wasn’t the season we hoped for but it was the season we needed to set the foundation for years to come!

This softball season proved that you can make the most of every opportunity, even in a short season! 🥎

Every player on our roster earned a district honor this year — a true testament to the talent our school is blessed with!

Saylor led the way, easily voted the MVP of our district!

Ronee, Avery, Connie, Allie, and Sarah filled up a lot of the 1st team spots with Taylor, Gabby, Genevieve, and Sophia closing out the 2nd team.

This team had an early exit from playoffs, but their impact was clear!

We want to thank our seniors - Saylor, Ronee, Taylor, and Sarah - for everything they have poured into Lady Rams softball. Their leadership gave us a baseline of excellence to uphold as we continue to grow this great program!

Absolutely incredible State Meet for our Rams!

Rafi may have only given track a brief moment of his high school career, but represented HCCS strong in field events — placing 5th and 6th in long jump and triple jump, respectively!

Sarah finishes her track career as a Ram placing 4th in the 400, setting a school record in the same event, and a state champion in the 4x400!

Forever the epitome of a great teammate, Andrew D returns to the track following injury to help the 4x400 team to a podium finish and to 4th in the 4x100!

And, last but never least, we want to extend a huge thank you to Ronee for serving as a manager this season!

Our Senior Rams have left behind big spikes to fill, but their work ethic, leadership, faith, and heart for their teammates set the standard for those who competed alongside them, and for those looked up to them.

Congratulations to all of our state finishers! We can’t wait to see what you continue to build.

What an amazing state meet! We had a great showing that we will recap soon, but we couldn’t let the day end without acknowledging our STATE CHAMPION relay team!

These girls left the competition in the dust and won STATE with a 4:26.80, which isn’t even their best time this season. WOW! Way to go, girls!! 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️

We are grateful that the entire track team has the opportunity to travel to Hewitt together to cheer each other on at the state meet! 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️
