The Magic Shovel Tree.
Nita and I sat down last evening and watched a couple of Western Movies on Grit Tv, which we enjoy sometimes. Have you ever wondered, while out in the wilderness, on foot, no horses, no water, no nothing. and someone always dies. They bury them out there in the wilderness. They always dug a grave with a shovel. (??- where the heck did the shovel come from). It seems like tons of westerns had that magic shovel. You see cowboys riding horses. There is no shovel on the saddle. Oh, the good ole days.🙂
I have known some who seem to think Money grows on trees.. I wonder if in the olden days shovels grew on trees.
“Oh!, someone died, where is the nearest shovel tree. 🤔”
They could be extinct, but I bet if you keep looking real hard you will find one cause they have to be out there.
The next time you watch an old Western, perhaps you will get a glimpse of that Shovel Tree. 😏
Have a good day,

Debby Arnold excited with her two new upgrade rebuilds of St Croix and Pfluger spinning rods. Only took her a short time hooking 20-30 fish including this nice 4-lb bass. This Lady with the two prettiest rods in Oklahoma, oh ya, no fish in Oklahoma is safe. Lots of luck Debby. Happy fishing,
Thank you Levi Bagwell for choosing me to rebuild your 16 foot Okuma. It’s a beautiful rod and I hope you enjoy it for many years,

Had a wonderful day with Steve, Eric & Dave on a family outing. Cleaned 79 White Bass. Fished 4 hours nonstop bite and left them biting. My son Steve did an awesome job cleaning them.

Had a wonderful day yesterday (1/4/26) with guide Brice Pope, Fish On Guide Service. With Steve Wilson, Travis Wilkerson and future Pro Fisherman Sloan Wilkerson. Started out at 39 degrees but warmed up a bit later on. We found fish in 30+ feet of water and Brice put us on them all day. We kept 46 Blue Cats and filled 7 1-gal bags of filets. Largest fish was 24-lbs which was released to fight another day. The 10 “Custom Rods By Richard” did a perfect job. Hats off to Fish on Guide Service (918) 724-6786 for a job well done.
