Well, it’s been a minute y’all. Happy New Year! We can still say that, right?
Things have been pretty hectic over here navigating the holidays, a brutal work schedule, dodging Covid at every turn, raising the smaller human and of course - training.
This morning .runs.for.grilled.cheese will start her 2022 season out in the desert at the . She’s running solo this race, but she feels super fresh and ready to take on this 20 mile looped course.
Initially, she had signed up for this week’s/end H9 Fierce Dragon, but when she decided to run the in May, she switched to this one for a good preview of what’s to come. I also think this was her only safety net to get out of that miserably hard race. 😝
Send all the positive vibes you got out west, and keep your fingers crossed she doesn’t fall into a cactus! I’ll be posting updates throughout the day/night in our story. LFG!

We had an absolute blast on our first group run and it’s all because of these super humans. Lots of smiles, lots of views and lots of laughs along the Pinhoti. Thanks to everyone who came out and extra high fives to our friends at Adventure Basecamp for hosting us!

Big Dog's Backyard Ultra started just a little bit ago and if you're not familiar, this is a pretty cool race from the brainchild of the Barkley Marathon's "Laz Lake". Runners have one hour to complete a 4-ish mile loop and that will repeat until there's only one runner left standing. There's some big names and big miles going down this weekend, so check out their page for updates and a link to the live tracker. https://buff.ly/3C0dnH6

Pretty interesting back story here on the Athletic Brewing Company. Thinking we could get down with this east coast company. 🤙
Should we carry it in the shop and/or at events and group runs? Y'all tried it yet?

Drinking was messing with his performance, so an endurance athlete set out to make a delicious nonalcoholic beer.
