Illinois Section 2 FFA is a region of Illinois Association FFA that works to better it's students through leadership, growth, and success.
Illinois Association FFA is divides the state of Illinois into twenty-five geographical areas known as sections. Each section consists of individual schools, FFA chapters, and certified agricultural educators. The sections are represented by a student FFA officer team and an IAVAT board. The officer team and the board of teachers are responsible for the students of their section. Specifically, Ill
inois Section 2 FFA is represented by a team of six student officers consisting of a President, Vice President, Reporter, Secretary, Treasurer, and Sentinel. This team as well as the eleven FFA advisors in the section work to serve the members of Section 2 FFA. They plan and facilitate many events throughout the year including CDE's, leadership conferences, and banquets. All of these events are attended by a variety of Section 2 Chapters. The eleven chapters in Section 2, in alphabetical order, are Amboy, Ashton - Franklin Center, Byron, Chadwick - Milledgeville, La Moille, Oregon, Paw Paw, Polo, Prophetstown - Lindon - Tampico, Rochelle, and Stillman Valley. Illinois Section 2 FFA works to better it's members through leadership in agricultural education.
