Mixed Martial Arts is recently sanctioned combat sport that combines all martial arts, typically fought in a cage or ring.

Two participants fight until the winner is determined by KO, submission, or decision by judge. Basic rules include: punches, kicks, elbows/knees to the body, legs and face; throws and takedowns; and submissions, joint locks and chokes. Welcome back, everyone! Winter quarter is officially underway and we will be kicking off practices starting tomorrow at 3pm in Rob Gym, our usual spot. Wear a gi if you have one, Coach Alex will be working on jiujitsu.
