RELATIONSHIP - the way in which two or more concepts, objects, or people are connected, or the state of being connected.
It takes two, at least two, for connection. If your relationships are not fulfilling you, ask yourself "How are you building the relationship? Are you building a connection?" And, it does take mindful intention, action. When you build connection mindfully, it shows others your heart, your love.

Watched the 2nd episode of Shameless last night. What an effn show - I find my self struggling watching it. The reality of the culture of alcohol and drug abuse, the dysfunction of the family with it at it's core. The resourcefulness of the children growing up in it and the love, and strive for survival that binds them together. I find it heart wrenching, sad, and yet inspiring. The resilience of the human condition to thrive, how can that not be inspiring?
I find it amazing, through the darkness, disease, and death, there is always light, life, and love; the true magic of the universe.
The magic is everywhere, embrace it friends.

I've been reading Senses of the Soul by GuruMeher Khalsa and loving it. Thought I would share some of it's wisdom and inspiration.
"Sometimes the best advice is the hardest to hear. We don't like anyone telling us what to do, esp. if something difficult is required. It's worse when the message delivery is loud and harsh or dark and cold. But without that early warning, lesson, and correction, the agony of figuring things out from the after-the-wreck debris involves far more pain than listening to and obeying the teacher in the first place. This is the situation with emotions: They are an internal source of guidance. Whether sweet or sharp, they are relentless taskmasters; they are mentors that we may resist but that persist until we obey what is best for us. Cooperation with this intuitive wisdom is a skill that we all have and must develop in order to free ourselves from suffering."
