Last week I started a new weight lifting program called B4 Liift4 ๐ช๐ผ They are only 20 minutes workouts, 4x a week to prepare me for a new program called Liift4 Iโm starting end of July.๐๐ผโโ๏ธ Do you follow??๐
Simple moves, focusing on perfect form. Weight lifting + HIIT (high intensity interval training) the perfect combo!๐๐ผ
This workout hit the shoulders, biceps, and triceps + we did hiit moves in between and a little abs at the end.๐

I'm really proud of myself for being me. I wear a lot of hats and do a lot of things. I know I don't give myself enough credit most of the time and I don't think people know all the things I do because I don't talk about it enough.
Honestly I don't like talking about myself, itโs something I'm uncomfortable with.
I have this belief that people should DO more than they should TELL. That action always speaks louder than words, and most of the time you just need the action without any words.
But on the other hand I know words and language and speech are so powerful and important too. Itโs communication. Itโs how we convey what we want other people to hear.
I guess we need a balance of both? Or maybe words are only impactful/valid when there is action behind them?? What are your thoughts?
Regardless I know finding my voice, and conveying a message through what I say is something I want to work on.๐๐ผ

I tried to do 80 Day Obsession again, but I failed. I got about 22 days in and didnโt wanna do it anymore. AND THATS OK!๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ
I did other workouts and I was more lenient with my eating. I decided to start the 2B Mindset, did that for about a week and stopped.๐๐ (I plan on starting 2BM again tho)๐๐ผ
Iโm still healthy. Iโm still active. Iโm still a role model. Itโs all an experiment. Itโs all life.๐๐ผ
For a bit I felt bad about it. I felt like I wasnโt a good coach for the women in my wellness group. I felt lazy. I felt like I failed. But to be honest I think I set myself up to fail. I had already committed 3 months the first time around to 80DO, so to do that exact program again for another 3 months was just too much!๐

So, if youโre reading this and you gave up on something, you failed, you quit, etc. WHO CARES!!! Youโre human. Move on. Restart. Continue where you left off. Do something different. Just KEEP GOING. You are a badass. You are smart. You are worthy regardless!โจโจโจ
Todayโs workout = 33 mins of dance. ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ Not only fun, but good for coordination and the brain!๐ง ๐๐ผItโs not about being a good dancer or even getting all the moves, itโs about having fun and learning something new.โบ๏ธ
Yoga felt SO GOOD today!๐๐ผ๐ง๐ผโโ๏ธ๐คธ๐ผโโ๏ธ Iโm trying to put together my ideal workout schedule thatโs well rounded. I will most likely lift 3x a week, dance 1x, yoga 1x, cardio/agility 1x, and rest one day or stretch.๐๐ผ This is what Iโve done this past week and it felt so right!โจ The thing thatโs so fun about fitness is that there are so many different things you can do, so it never gets boring!๐๐ผ

Full body strength workout today!๐ช๐ผ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐ 15 moves, 1 minute each move, light-medium weights. Of course add a warm up and cool down๐๐ผ (I recommend wearing shoes๐)๐

๐ช๐ผ Today I switched the b***y workout I was supposed to do with the cardio one for tomorrow because I only had about 40 mins.โฐ
I was tempted not to do it since I trained a client this morning and did most of the workout along with her.๐ฏโโ๏ธ But working out is a time for me ๐ itโs almost like meditation in a way, a time to focus on me and my body. So it was important that I took that time for myself. Plus I got a super good sweat ๐ฆ

Power stance ๐ I have this tradition of taking a flexing pic after every workout.๐ Sometimes I post it, sometimes I donโt. But I like doing it because it makes me feel powerful and strong, especially after finishing a workout. ๐ช๐ผ
