Hartenburg Equestrian Hartenburg Equestrian offers coaching and training in Eventing, Jumpers and Dressage in Santa Ynez, California.

Our skilled team uses a blend of classical training theory and positive training techniques to develop the potential in our equine and human clients. We love working with students of all ages and skill levels, focusing on sound fundamentals and a “positive, patient, persistent” approach. We offer services including lessons, training, sales, competition, Pony Club Riding Center, and more on the central coast of California, and are available to travel for clinics nationwide.

The USEA and US Equestrian are pleased to announce a status change to USEF Endorsed levels of competition which is designed to make the sport more financially accessible for new participants. Beginning in the 2027 competition year, current Endorsed levels (Beginner Novice through Training) will become USEF Lite levels and now include Starter, whether they are held on their own or within a Regular licensed event (Modified and above).
