Coach got luck again!

Thank you all for playing in yesterday’s Sperry Golf Team Benefit Tournament. It was a hot day, but everyone had a great time supporting the Pirates golf team!

A big shout out to our friends at the First Tee of Tulsa, Golfroots.com, The Links on Memorial GC, and Rock Creek GC. Their donations and support go a long way toward making this happen.

Looking forward to the coming 2026-27 Fall and Spring Golf Seasons. Fall practice begins on September 1.

If your JH or HS student wants to be a part of a program whose who has sent 4 kids to play college golf, on scholarship, in the past two years, contact Coach Warwick at the high school.

The Sperry Lady Pirates 2026 golf season came to an end, this past Monday and Tuesday, at the Class 3A State Tournament @ The Territory GC in Duncan.

Senior, Anna Coffey (Coffeyville CC Golf Commit) and Junior, Heidi Wade both qualified through the 3A West Regional in Woodward a couple of weeks ago.

The course layout was tough, the greens were fast, and it didn’t help that the wind was howling. Both ladies hung in and did a pretty good job staying focused. Getting a chance to play a course of that caliber was really good experience for both of them.

To our Seniors (Anna, Sam, & KK): Thank you for all you accomplished. You have been a huge part of building the girls golf program at Sperry into something special.

A few years ago, the girls had never won a trophy in girls golf (from what anyone could remember). This year, alone, the team won two tournaments and placed top 3 in a few more. The number of individual and team awards you three won is beyond impressive and I am eternally grateful.

All three of you are going to do amazing things in life with whatever you choose to do. We hope this experience was largely positive and something you will look back fondly upon.
