My client came to me on a GLP1 & was dropping weight quickly… but it wasn’t the kind of progress you actually want.

Her GLP-1 dose was too high. Appetite was tanked. Energy was low. Weight was dropping fast but not in a way that’s sustainable.

She was nauseous, not able to eat enough & overall not feeling well.

I told her to go back to the doctor and have them pull the dose back.

Now she’s still losing, just at a pace her body can actually keep up with. Training is better. Food intake is more consistent. She actually has energy again.

Faster isn’t better if you can’t maintain it long term and can actually lead to muscle loss if done too fast

If you’re on a GLP-1 (or thinking about starting one), this matters:

You still need to lift.

You still need to eat enough calories and protein.

Otherwise you’re not just losing weight, you’re losing muscle, energy, and the ability to maintain your results long term.

You don’t need a better plan

You need something that actually makes you follow through

Because you already know what to do…but you’re still:

•picking at random meals by 3pm because nothing was planned
•saying “I’ll start fresh Monday” for the 10th time
•standing in your kitchen stressed trying to figure out what fits your calories (or what your calories even are)
•being “good all day” then losing it at night

That’s the difference between trying…and actually getting results

She only lost 10 lbs in a year…

But lost 8 inches off her waist

And no… that wasn’t the goal she had in mind when we started

She wanted much faster and more weight loss on the scale

But at one point, she wasn’t losing even on low calories

And instead of just cutting her food lower (to an unhealthy place) like most people would…

we didn’t

Because sometimes your body needs a recomp or a rebuild phase before it’s ready for long lasting, healthy fat loss

So we focused on:

•Getting her stronger and moving more
•Improving her accuracy
•How her clothes are fitting
•Actually supporting her body and boosting her metabolism instead of constantly under fueling it

That’s when everything started shifting

Her shape changed

Her waist dropped inches

Her body looked completely different even when the scale didn’t move much

This is what body recomposition looks like

Not always linear

Not always what you expected

But exactly what your body needed
