Mounted drill is a group riding in sync in creative moves to music. Our group wanted to put together a new style we call Cowboy Dressage. We each ride a different breed of horse and have different training backgrounds. We all have respect for the connection between horse and rider and enjoy applying Dressage style to the sport that we love of Mounted Drill.

The Gypsy Gold Team will be getting together for some Obstacle Training Practice on Sunday at Staley Stables in Wimauma from 10:00 to 2:00 .

I would just like to Thank everyone for visiting our FB Page 😃 we have taken the summer off from practice while we search for another rider to join our team . But I would like to wish the other Florida Drill Team Riders the Best of Luck at the next competition on September 1st .

This team will be preforming together in 2018
Today's practice went really well 🤠 with these new horses . This is a very strong group of riders !!!
And I'll tell you these horses have some great moves , the picture does not do this team justice 💞
We are looking forward to the first qualifier next year !!!

With heavy Hearts the Gypsy Gold Team shares memories of one of our Beloved drill horses ( My New Years Surprise ) owned by Serissa Thompson .
Retired a couple years ago , this Beautiful Bay Boy will definitely be Missed . He was always very Majestic and Enjoyed Performing ❤️
Rest In Peace " Surprise " you gave us 27 years of love , Beauty and Grace !!! You will be Missed 😪

The Gypsy Gold drill team will be doing a Trail ride at Alafia state park this Sunday 🌺 meeting at the Park at 10:30 . If your interested in riding along with us feel free to contact me 😃 and please pack your lunch and bring something to drink . It will be hot so ice would be a bonus !!
