Thank you so much Ohana New England Dragon Boat - Boston for hosting another annual BEASTS from the East paddle erg competition!!! The effort put in has been tremendous and we can’t thank and appreciate you guys enough for making this event so fun and enjoyable to all of us in midst of the dry off-season months☺️🥰 Thank you🤗

A huge shout out and kudos to all the teams out there this past Saturday for putting their best foot forward and sportsmanship in the competition, it has always been a pleasure reuniting with all our paddle friends in the East Coast and Canada!🫡

We are also super proud of our team for competing in BEASTS, especially to several of our newer members who has spent so minimal time on the water, but has trained really hard in the winter! The off season training is paying off and it shows ❤️! Everyone who competed are the literal embodiment of 💙💚 1 month of off-season left and training doesn’t stop here, we can’t wait to build more gains for the remaining month and sprint into water season in mid-April!🤩

Last but not least, big congratulations to our head coach Lily Ting for earning top BEAST in the premier women category🥳🎉

Our appreciation for women across dragon boat teams shouldn’t be limited to just one day, but instead whenever we get the chance we should always offer our appreciation to every single women in the dragon boat community, as well as all other women that make up half of this planet earth🥰!!!! Without you girlies, B1 wouldn’t be B1. Go give your female friends and teammates a big hug and appreciation today, tomorrow or anytime this month or this year - to show your love for them, they deserve it!!❤️❤️❤️ We wouldn’t be full without all of these incredible women around the world🫶🏻

Despite the snow storm, it has been an awesome Saturday spent with Connecticut Dragons and our friends who we haven’t seen in a while, Betty, Bryan and Rob ❤, and of course wearing the bright neon pink pErgatory beanies 🩷 Thank you for the warm hospitality and awesome well-ran event, we felt so welcomed and there were so many fun vibes!! Congratulations to all the first time pErg-ers out there who has never dragon boated before, all our friends who competed and of course our own teammates who crushed their respective events 🔥 Can’t wait for a 2027 pErgatory 👀
