I FOUND THE ANSWER 😱

Does this sound familiar?
➡️To reach my goal body I must workout 5-6 times a week, spend hours in the gym and follow a structured training program.
➡ To lose weight I must do an excessive amount of cardio and follow a strict diet plan.
➡ To be happy in my body I must continue to look outside myself for the next best program.
➡️ To be successful and see any results I must work hard and have a no excuse mindset.
Yet, every time I do all this, I never achieve the body I desire or I lose a little weight only to sabotage my results later. 🤦🏽♀️

ALL OR NOTHING!!! Is that the approach you are taking this holiday season??
Do you feel you only have 2 options?

Babes, I am here to tell you, those are not your only options…
Let’s look at it like this…
Let’s say, you are having such an amazing day you go for a drive and all of a sudden you realize that your tire pressure is low…😩
You pull over, and when you step out you see that you have a flat tire🤦🏽♀️ First thing you say is, of course something had to go wrong today…
And then you do the only logically thing…
You say screw it and slash the other three tires since your day is going down hill as it is 😳
NO YOU WOULDN’T DO THAT!!!!
At least I hope not!! So why would you do that to YOU, to your goals??
Just as you would put a spare on your tire to get to the next place, so you can replace or repair it to finally get to where you are going, is the same way you need to look at your goals!!
Just because times are hard doesn’t mean give up on you!!
Just because you hit a bump in the road doesn’t mean stop!!
Just because you have a flat, doesn’t mean to destroy everything else you worked so hard for!!
Just because you feel you have reached that dead end in your journey doesn’t mean to give up!
Push through the hard times, go around that bump, repair or replace that flat OR turn that THANG around at that dead end and start a new or different journey!!!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
An all or nothing approach doesn’t make sense and isn’t rational!!
Having a flat or small set back in your journey is just a small bump in the road to success.
SO, NEVER GIVE UP ON YOU!!!

Reverse Diet!!! What is it⁉️
I mentioned on Friday that I am officially on a reverse diet.
Many of you have reached out asking, what is a reverse diet? Well I am about to educate you some 🙃
Reverse dieting is pretty much what it sounds like: a diet flipped upside down!
So, Instead of cutting calories and increasing cardio, you increase your metabolism by gradually adding calories back into your diet while reducing cardio.
Although it sounds simple, there is more to reverse dieting than “eat more, do less.”
If you want to maximize your metabolic rate without storing a ton of body fat, you must be strategic and patient (which I know is so hard).
But this allows your body time to adjust by making slow deliberate changes, rather that introducing a lot of calories at one time and putting on a ton of weight.
You see, you can only be on a calorie deficit for so long and normally when people stop dieting they add the calories back too fast and wonder why they are always having a yo-yo effect of losing weight and gaining it right back.
I have been dieting for a long time this year and a person’s body can only diet for so long before it does not respond anymore and needs a reverse diet.
I look forward to this reverse diet as I never was able to do one correctly after my first competing season because I went from competing right to a major surgery.
With more food comes more energy… and more energy will lead to being able to lift heavier… lifting heavier will lead to GAINS💪🏽💪🏽
I have a lot going on in my life right now so introducing more food and a tad bit less of cardio in my will help me mentally as well with my life’s current situation.
Hopefully, this helps many of you understand a little more about reverse dieting.

Holidays are NOT what you think they are about!!

I hope you enjoyed your Halloween!!
I know I did!!
Did you have some candy?? Did you party a little?? Did you drink some Wine??
I know I ate some candy 🍫🍬 and had some wine 🍷 BUT most importantly, I enjoyed my time with my babies!!
We dressed up, went to visit family, attempted some trick or treating, ate burger king (yes, I had some too) and then we payed UNO for the rest of the night while we ate some candy and I sipped on some wine!!
Not for one second did I feel guilty about anything that I did last night!!
AND I hope that you don't either.
So often we forget what the holiday's are truly about!!
All holiday's are surrounded by food and drinks BUT they are also surrounded by family and friends!!
The Holidays are about making memories and enjoying those people who are near and dear to your heart!!
The holiday's are NOT about stressing over food and drinks!!
You should be able to enjoy your holidays and still work on yourself in way that feels good to you!!
Don't beat yourself up if you do indulge one day!!
Enjoy yourself, your family and your journey!!
As the holidays are approaching I want you to put in the forefront of your mind what they are really about!!
