Squash requires a combination of strength, agility, and cardiovascular endurance, so a variety of exercises can help improve your game:

Strength

Exercises that strengthen your legs, core, and upper body include squats, lunges, deadlifts, and plyometric exercises like box jumps and push-ups. You can also try single-leg squats, which can improve your power, stability, and hip and ankle mobility.

Cardiovascular endurance

Aerobic exercises like running, cycling, and swimming can help improve your cardiovascular endurance. You can also try high-intensity interval training (HIIT), which involves alternating between 30-second sprints and 30-second rest periods.

Agility and footwork

Agility drills like ladder drills, cone drills, and shuttle runs can help you move quickly and with agility in all directions.

Explosive power

Plyometric exercises like jump squats, box jumps, and medicine ball throws can help you build explosive power.

Endurance training

Bike sprints can help you increase your endurance without putting too much stress on your joints.

Squash drills

You can try practicing ghosting, which involves moving from the center of the court to the six hot spots on each side. You can also try alternating which side of the racket you use to hit the ball.

You can try devoting 20 minutes to squash drills and exercises three times a week to improve your game
