OUTLAW CLASS (24V+) – PRO TREE
24 volts or more.
Must retain a power-wheel gear box.
NO brushless electric or gas engines.
Must have a kill switch installed that the driver can hit with their hand. On top of the car and must be yellow

100+amp circuit breaker required.

Must have 10 gauge or thicker wire

Must have a heavy duty solenoid, or an electronic speed controller.

Must have a mechanical brake system approved by the race director.

A power-wheel equipped with an 18v/20v drill battery. (any)

Must have a kill switch installed that the driver can hit with there hand on top of the car and must be yellow

100+amp circuit breaker required.

Wheelie bars & neck brace recommended but not required

Vehicles with First Gears Deleted must have a mechanical brake system
approved by the race director.

STOCK CLASS- FULL TREE

Factory setup, 6v or 12v.
NO MODIFICATIONS TO MOTORS OR GEARBOXES.
Drivers must sit inside the car
Doors on car must be abled to lock shut

Long sleeve is required.

Factory set up..

Drag racing is the most popular form of Power Wheels Racing. Typically race tracks are 60 feet long and use a PortaTree starting light system. Full Tree is the easiest starting light system while Pro Tree requires quicker reactions. If you use the rules below you will be able to qualify your racers in our national record keeping system to see who has the fastest power wheels!!

Welcome to PowerWheel! Join us for exhilarating drag racing in Sarasota, Florida.

We are excited to introduce our new racing series, commencing on May 31st, 2025, in the Sarasota. {coming soon}

This event will feature an entire day of high-octane PowerWheel races.

Children aged 2 to 10 years are invited to compete in thrilling drag races.

We will be hosting several competitive classes for this event: Stock, Modified, and Outlaw.

Comprehensive Safety Rules and Regulations will be provided along with the class details.

The top three competitors from each class will be honored with trophies. In addition, every participating child will receive medals.

Each child will have the opportunity to make four runs:
1. Qualifying Pass
2. Three Bracket Passes
