Headed up the Tenn-Tom today. Kingfisher Bay Marina was a great stop with super clean amenities. We saw tons of Bald Eagles. There was a portion that had a crazy amount of debris so we had to take it really slow. The locks all ran really smooth.

It’s been a fantastic trip with Capt Ron. We are leaving Mobile Bay from Dog River this morning with the plan of heading up river to Bobby’s Fish Camp for fuel. We are looking forward to a nice day ahead.

It’s a beautiful morning in Carrabelle at The Moorings. My new friend Ron, the owner, and I will be headed to Panama City today. Our final destination is Pickwick Mississippi. We will be joined by my first mate, Stephanie, in Mobile for the remainder of the trip.

I had a great time working with this wonderful couple on their very nice Monterey. Although he was already fairly capable behind the wheel, a few more tips provided the extra abilities to maneuver in close proximity to other boats and docks. I know it’s been a great training session when the time flys by and we’ve had fun.

The owner and I had fantastic weather while crossing from Carrabelle to Clearwater. When I arrived in Carrabelle I found a few things that needed some attention prior to our departure but the owner got right on them and our journey was uneventful. With a 24 hour off shore trip, having all our emergency equipment gave pease of mind as well.

We have had a busy winter with local boat training! This was a fun day of on-the-water training with this couple on their new to them Carver. Their particular boat slip is extremely tight so we focused on a lot of slow, tight-space maneuvering. They also want to be able to take overnight trips to local areas with their family so we also spent time on navigation and learning useful tools and apps. Now on to a crazy booked April of boat deliveries!

Super happy for our clients and now friends on starting their Great Loop! We met Ken and April 2 years ago at the Punta Gorda Great Loop event. They hired us to come to Norfolk and train them on “P Sea S” to prepare them for all things Great Loop and yachting. We worked hard but had a blast and fell in love with them and we know you will too on their new YouTube channel, Experience Wanted! We are excited to follow their adventure.

Mother Nature doesn’t do what the humans say she will. She does what she intends and we are just along for the ride. On this delivery, she gave us some very reduced visibility, thunder and lighting.
Then she showed us her beauty.
I had a fantastic time with Melvin and Deborah while instructing and delivering their, new to them, 38 Regal to their home in Okeechobee on the Kissimmee River. They were such nice people and so gracious. What a privilege it is to meet so many wonderful people with this business!!!
