Rods n Rockets Surf Fishing

In my career I have access alot of cool stuff that can have alot of uses. Coban is a self-adhesive, stretchy, and spongy bandaging tape. Great stuff. I wondered how it would do as, like, grip on a rod, so I tried it out on one of spare ones. Makes for a really solid feeling grip and looks cool. Might have to see how it holds up on the setup.

Met a patient and his dad who are both followers today. Luckily I had some Squatchpomps to share.

Had a rare weekday off yesterday, so got out from 2 til 6. Not a bad afternoon. Fished Patrick at Tables. Giving the new Squatchpomp Bead and Cyclops rigs by Amanda Bernethy a thorough beating to test em out. To say they produced and stood up to some teeth and multiple fish would be accurate. Good bite all afternoon. Started to collect lil bits of weeds later in the day.

Amanda Bernethy! Those new Squatchpomp rigs produced like hell today!! Some hog whiting out there at PSFB also. Good fishing ahead the storm. I stopped counting at 20!

Gettin a few hours in ahead of the weather. Psfb. No weeds. A few fleas around. Getting bites. Not counting my two...I count about a dozen rods out. Seems to be a mild bite rt now but folks are catchin

Met up with Amanda Bernethy and had some of her new, not yet available, rigs find their way to me. Even the beads are handmade! And they look great. Cant wait to get em in the water and try em out! Stay tuned!

This is what its all about. Sharing the challenge. This guy was awesome. A fellow Tenneseean. The kids were so curious. Always happy to talk shop and show off a couple tricks.
