We're big fans of the work of The Marine Mammal Center! That's why we're delighted to be a haven for seals like Snugwort who most likely were born on our docks and call Sausalito home

Pacific harbor seal Snugwort was recently resighted by our friends over at Sea Trek Kayak and SUP Center 🤗

Rescued for a suspected shark bite wound, Snugwort spent less than a month in care before being released at Chimney Rock in Point Reyes National Seashore in late July 🎉 And by mid-August, he was spotted with fellow harbor seals on the docks of Sausalito 🦭

Can you see how hat tags might come in handy for identifying seals both in care and after release? 🤭

Saturday, September 12th, we’re taking the Sausalito evening scene to the water! Join Sea Trek and Township to enjoy the amazing sounds and of the 2nd annual DJs by the Bay from the water! This year, the event is taking place at Dunphy Park which means more space to raft up and groove plus a shorter paddle from Sea Trek. Reserve your kayak, SUP or a private e-boat and launch toward the waterfront by Dunphy Park (~10 min paddle or 5 minute boat ride). Raft up, soak in the views, and enjoy the sounds and surrounds of the Bay as the sun sets.
This event is hosted by local co-working space and social club Township. DJs play from 2:30 on!
