There are many kinds of training. I have been enjoying traditional archery using bows of increasing draw weight, currently 75lb draw weight. I find it is very good for strength in the arms, chest, and shoulders. It is also very good for no-mind training. And, if you practice shooting left and right side, I find that it makes an excellent moving meditation, balancing the left and right sides of the brain.
