The Governor's Executive Order regarding the wearing of masks or protective facial coverings in public settings during this serious global pandemic was not intended to negatively impact permit holders under the Illinois Concealed Carry Act while legally carrying fi****ms. The Executive Order does not require or suggest that law enforcement should arrest or criminally charge conceal carry license permit holders for wearing protective masks while in public as long as they are complying with the other provisions of the Illinois Concealed Carry Act and are not committing any other violations of Illinois law. ISP has confidence that law enforcement officers across the state will use appropriate judgment and that elected State's Attorneys will likewise exercise sound prosecutorial discretion

Just an FYI as of June 1st if you buy ammo in Cook County you will be paying .05 per round more because the person in charge at Cook County thinks she needs more of your hard earned money to waste. Go to other places outside Cook County to buy anything

Last week I completed my Texas CHL instructors certification and will be able to teach my friends in Texas Concealed carry and in January they will also have open carry.

These are shooting tips from various Concealed Carry Instructors:

If you own a gun, you will appreciate these rules...
If not, you should get one, learn how to use it and learn the rules.

RULES:

A : Guns have only two enemies: rust and politicians.

B : Its always better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

C : Cops carry guns to protect themselves, not you.

D : Never let someone, or something that threatens you, get inside arm's length

E : Never say, "I've got a gun." If you need to use deadly force,
the first sound they should hear is the safety clicking off.

F : The average response time of a 911 call is 23 minutes;
the response time of a .357 is 1400 feet per second.

G : The most important rule in a gunfight is:
Always Win - there is no such thing as a fair fight.
Always Win - cheat if necessary.
Always Win - 2nd place doesn't count

H : Make your attacker advance through a wall of bullets ...
You may get killed with your own gun, but he'll have to
beat you to death with it because it will be empty .

I : If you're in a gun fight:
(a) If you're not shooting, you should be loading.
(b) If you're not loading, you should be moving.
(c) If you're not moving, you're dead.

J : In a life and death situation, do something ...
it may be wrong, but do something!

K : If you carry a gun, people will call you paranoid. Nonsense!
If you have a gun, what do you have to be paranoid about?

L : You can say 'stop' or any other word, but a large bore muzzle
pointed at someone's head is pretty much a universal language;
and, you won't have to press 1 for Spanish/Mexican, 2 for Chinese, or
3 for Arabic.

M : Never leave an enemy behind. If you have to shoot, shoot to kill.
In court, yours will be the only testimony.

N : You cannot save the planet, but you may be able to save yourself
and your family.

This is a great app for concealed carry, you can go into a place and if they are not on the list you can add them and put them in the app if they are concealed carry friendly or not and it will get updated for all of us. I think It will be very helpful if they are not friendly to us then we can go else ware. Have a safe Christmas!!!

Just an FYI for my Hunters that took the classes when your Bow Hunting you may not carry your CCL hand gun and if you are out during firearm season you many carry but it will need to be in the caliber and type of firearm allowed by the IL. DNR. Happy Hunting and stay safe
