👑 MEET COACH GABBY!

Talk about a full-circle moment.

Gabby’s volleyball journey started right here at Ichiban Volleyball Club in 2013, and now she’s back where it all began, this time as a coach!

A libero for most of her club and high school career, Gabby made her mark at Lakeside High School, earning Best Defensive Player, All-Area 2nd Team, two Player of the Match honors, and the Viking Award. During her final season, she also led DeKalb County in digs.

Now, Gabby is bringing that experience back to Ichiban to help the next generation develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game.

Once Ichiban, always Ichiban.

Parents have fun too! 🏐🤍

One of our favorite nights of the season is Parents vs. Players.. when our athletes get to show their parents a glimpse of all the hard work they’ve been putting in throughout the season… and maybe remind them that volleyball isn’t quite as easy as it looks. 😉😂

Shoutout to our GABI 14s from last season and all of their parents! We had such a great night and loved every second of it.

At Ichiban, it’s more than just volleyball. It’s about bringing our players, coaches, and families together and creating memories along the way. ❤️🏐

Meet and show some love to our dynamic duo, Maita and Matt Van Duyne! 🏐💙

You might see them at One Beach, managing and playing sand open play. You might find them in the Ichiban gym, coaching or cheering from the sidelines while their son takes the court. Or you may catch them coaching high school volleyball in Dunwoody.

For Maita and Matt, volleyball truly is a family affair.. and they represent so much of what Ichiban is all about: family, community, commitment, and a genuine love for the game.

They’ve been part of the Ichiban family for nearly a decade, and we are incredibly thankful for the time, energy, and heart they continue to pour into our club and the sport of volleyball.

We’re lucky to have the Van Duynes as part of our Ichiban family! 🫶🏐
