BOW Alumni! Due to winter percussion tristate championships and Spring Break, we are in need of some help to get a band together for the State Basketball Finals on March 30th. If you are available and interested, please fill this one question form out. We have 15 or so spots available. All instrumentation welcome. Biggest need is brass, especially low brass, bass guitar, and full-time drumset.

Look at this everyone! Is your name here?

Well, we were able to salvage and cut out as many of the names signed as possible. Just a couple may have been missed but that was because there was inappropriateness along with the name. Also discovered a lot of dried up gum hidden in the crevices and unseen spots. There's probably gum from the 70s we found! 😂

Some of the names had faded over time, or disappeared completely so we’re hopeful it’s on parts we took out. Others may have signed something in the guard closet and/or uniform room. Now the real question is….any woodworkers out there that would like to create something with the pieces saved?? Also, check the comments for a photo of the old band room as it is today in its transformation into a new weight room.

On Friday, December 20th, Scottsburg High School will be honoring the 1989 Scottsburg High School Marching Band on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of their State Marching Title. The ceremony will take place at Meyer Gym between the Junior Varsity and the Varsity games against MSC opponent Corydon Central.

We encourage all former members of the Band of Warriors that were a part of this historic event to attend along with their families. We will have a hospitality room for a meet and greet beforehand!

We look forward to a great evening!

**UPDATE: The Scottsburg Alumni Association holds their banquet the 4th Saturday of June each year.
That will fall on the same day as ours next year.
The Alumni banquet this year started at 5:30 pm, so if they follow suit, classmates could attend both if they so choose. **

OK everyone, spread the word! SHS Class of 1980, 40th Class Reunion will be held at The Scottsburg Moose Lodge. Saturday June 27, 2020, 7:00 pm till 11:00 pm

Earlier in the day classmates can meet for breakfast or lunch somewhere if there is enough interest.
