I only got my period 2â3 times a year for most of my 20s.
I was put on birth control as a teenager just so my cycle would start, and nobody ever looked into WHY my body wasnât doing it on its own.
It wasnât until I went through cancer and started actually researching my own health that I learned:
⢠My blood sugar was wrecking my hormones
⢠Chronic stress was making everything worse
⢠My body wasnât broken, it just needed the right support rather than me constantly pushing too hard
Little by little, through nutrition, stress management, sleep, and lifestyle changes, my cycle regulated.
If youâve been told your labs are ânormalâ but you feel anything butâŚI see you. And thereâs so much more you can do!

If youâre eating healthy, working out, and still not losing weight with PCOSâŚ
This might be the piece youâre missing.
After working with women at every stage of their PCOS journey (and reversing my own PCOS symptoms), the difference between the women who finally lose weight and balance their hormones and the ones who stay stuck is surprisingly consistent, and it has nothing to do with how âdedicatedâ they are.
And no, itâs not a stricter meal plan or a more intense workout.
Itâs your nervous system.
Studies show that when your body is stuck in fight or flight mode - constantly stressed, under-fueled, overstimulated - it doesnât feel safe enough to focus on things like fat loss, hormone production, or regular ovulation.
Instead, it prioritizes survival.
â¨Thatâs why so many women with PCOS feel stuck in this cycle, even when theyâre doing all the ârightâ things.
But once I started regulating my nervous system daily (and I teach my 1:1 clients how to do the same), everything started to change:
⢠My body started to feel safe againâ¨â˘ I had more energy and less anxietyâ¨â˘ The weight finally started coming offâ¨â˘ My cycles became more regular with fewer symptoms
⢠Bloating and digestion issues went away
This is the one huge difference I see between women who hit their health goals and women who donât.
Learn how to calm the body â The nervous system gets into rest & digest â Your body feels safe enough to let go of extra weight
Thatâs the real weight loss formula for us PCOS girlies, and itâs backed by science.
If youâre looking for more support here and youâre finally ready to lose weight for good and feel confident in your body, even with PCOS, comment READY to get more details on my 6 month 1:1 coaching program Becoming Balanced.

âI donât know why my PCOS symptoms are so badâŚâ meanwhile đ
⢠surviving on coffee before breakfastâ¨â˘ barely eating enough protein or fiberâ¨â˘ constantly stressed and overstimulatedâ¨â˘ skipping mealsâ¨â˘ sleeping 5â6 hours a nightâ¨â˘ overdoing workouts but never slowing down
And listenâŚIâm not judging. Iâve ben where you are.
Feeling like youâre doing everything right - eating healthy, working out, etc but still your PCOS symptoms are SO frustrating and stubborn.
The weight wonât go away, youâre super fatigued, your anxiety is at an all time high, youâre breaking out and your periods are super irregular.
Most of us with PCOS were never actually taught how much our daily habits impact hormones, blood sugar, inflammation, and stress levels.
Your body isnât trying to work against you. Itâs responding to the signals youâre giving it every day.
The good news?â¨Small changes will make a HUGE difference.
Things like:â¨â˘ balanced mealsâ¨â˘ blood sugar supportâ¨â˘ nervous system regulationâ¨â˘ sleepâ¨â˘ daily movement
These are the foundations that actually help improve PCOS symptoms.
If you donât know where to start, I created a free PCOS Starter Guide to help đ¤

Eating for PCOS doesnât need to be complicated, I promiseđ
One of the most common things I see in new clients who want to reverse their PCOS symptoms, have tried everything and still canât lose weight? Theyâre not eating enough food!
And I know it sounds coutnerinutituve because if you want to lose weight you should âeat less,â right? But in reality that is SO not the case.
Our body needs fuel to function. Our hormones are literally made from amino acids in the protein we eat, cholesterol from the healthy fats we eat and the carbohydrates we consume drive the energy behind our hormones actually doing what needs to be done in our bodies.
FOOD IS INFORMATION FOR OUR BODY.
Of course, what we are eating, when and how much, is what we need to pay attention to.
I used to skip breakfast, have no protein at lunchtime, and then be starving at dinner and eat way too much.
This left my body in such a state of stress, which is why my PCOS symptoms were so bad - only got my period 2-3 times per year, was bloated all the time and gaining weight, getting daily headaches and couldnât sleep through the night because of my anxiety.
My body was screaming at me to fix my hormones, and Iâm SO happy that I listened because since then everything has changed.
I have WAY more energy now, Iâm stronger than Iâve ever been physically, I get my period regularly with very minimal symptoms and I feel SO much more confident and connected to my body in a way I never had before.
So if youâre ready to make changes, learn how to eat FOR your hormones and reverse your symptoms, â
