When planning your meals keep these 4 tips in mind:

1. Prioritize protein: grass fed meats, eggs, wild caught fish, greek yogurt

2. Add in Healthy Fats: avocado, butter, nuts, olive oil

3. Eat some fibrous veggies and fruits: asparagus, squash, cauliflower, leafy greens, berries

4. Portion control:make sure you understand your body, inside and out, pay attention to it’s hunger cues. If you are not sure where to start, talk to a professional to get set up with custom portions.

SUMMER DESSERT RECIPE 🍦
Frozen Chocolate Whips ~ Low Carb Ice Cream

Ingredients
1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
4 Tbsp . of Cocoa Powder [use 3 Tbsp. for a more milk chocolate flavor]
2 1/2 Tbsp . Swerve Sweetener [these can also be made with sugar or other sweeteners, but you may need to adjust the amounts]
1/2 tsp . vanilla extract
1 pinch of sea salt

Instructions
1. Put all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and beat on high with the whip attachment until the whipped cream has firm peaks. Transfer the chocolate whipped cream to a piping bag fitted with a 1M piping tip. On a parchment lined baking sheet swirl the whipped cream around into large mounds like soft serve ice cream. Make around 12 or so and freeze on the baking sheet for at least 1 hour.
- If you are wondering each frozen chocolate whip has around 70 calories and 7-8 grams of fat... and 1.5 net carbs!

Tips for Making Frozen Chocolate Whips Low Carb Ice Cream
-Whip the cream until it’s a thick consistency. Watch out for whipping too long which will cause the whipped cream to become butter!
- Use a silicone mat or parchment paper.
-Wait a minute before eating if you can. Just like regular ice cream… Frozen Chocolate Whips get creamier if they are allowed to warm up just a bit.
-Try different flavors. Add around 1 tsp. of any liquid flavoring for the best results. For example instead of the cocoa just add 1 tsp. of vanilla for a vanilla flavored version.
