52 photos and 4 short videos from The 24th Jerry. Unfortunately I only had just over 2 hours to take photos and only got the Amateurs on hole 2 and maybe 2 Pros. The weather was gorgeous Friday. I could have spent the day just sitting in a chair and relaxing. Thanks everyone that I snap a pic of, for posing so nicely.

What a great treat before my birthday. Issue 61 Spring 2024 of DiscGolfer just arrived. This issue has 3 of my photos from the Shelly Sharpe Memorial by Spinners on the Green - Disc Golf Store. With that, they are Celebrating 15 years with select issue covers and my Summer 2013 cover was chosen. So happy to be part of the wonderful Disc Golf community for so many years. I was hooked playing Frisbee object golf in the 60’s and love the growth, challenges and people in the always evolving sport.

Spinners on the Green - Disc Golf Store

Unfortunately, my body didn’t cooperate with my desire to be at the Fountain at 8:30 to get some nice shots of the age protected Amateur groups on hole 17 with the sun in the perfect position. So my grandson Emmit and I ended up at Dukes for lunch and a little spectating. We didn’t get to see as much as hear the lead MPO group go off, since our server was so slow. But Tommy Gunz Trujillo gifted me with and awesome Big Arm Jersey and Jeff Jacquart gifted me with a cool Grip6 belt and Las Vegas Challenge buckle. Thank you gentlemen so very much. I was also lucky enough to purchase some of Jeff’s LVC pins for the grandkids also with 2 from Jeff. They will be stoked.
I love being with DiscGolfers. The sense of family and friendship is so heartwarming and inspiring to say the least. They are all such wonderful people. And Emmitt had to much fun playing with the cat-tails by the water.

Todays photos are coming to you from the Ramada by the normal hole 1 at Vista. With the lite sprinkles of rain, chillin under cover and lunch provided by Team Green Cafe, it makes for a nice afternoon.
