Watching her go from just squatting the bar a couple months ago has been a pleasure! I canโt wait to see where we go from here!

While squatting and or working with the bar my clients and I follow a RPE system (rate of perceived exertion) working each set to an 8 1/2 saving at least one or two reps each working set. Then working to a 10 out of 10 on the last set shows us if we are ready to go up in weight next week.

Shout out to and our first week of ADVANCED OVERLOAD TECHNIQUES ๐๐ฅ
This overload is a bodyweight drop set so we completed our three sets of normal Bulgarian split squats with the 15 pound dumbbell then drop the dumbbell after the last set and get another 10 body weight reps. This pushes the body past perceived failures and into those b***y gains!!!!
Typically I put together a 6 to 8 week program for my clients. After we focus on beating our sets wraps and weights adding more volume to our main lift the first couple weeks we had whatโs called advanced overload techniques after the last set. We will continue to add a new advanced Overload each week until all of her exercises are overloaded. This is called hell week ๐๐ฅ
Then we will follow up hell week with a D load week to rest our body and joints and prepare for the new routine! ๐ฏ
Shout out to for hitting a new PR of 205lbs for 11 freaking reps yesterday ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
Note: we follow an RPE system when performing barbell lifts. This allows my clients to stay fresh and give 100% to the last best set. During this phase if we can compete 8 or more we add 5-10lbs next week. Numbers donโt lie. This keeps us safe and injury free.

Monday motivation baby!!!
Reminder, nobody wakes up truly motivated naturally on their own. Motivation is like bathing ๐งผ you need that s**t daily. Hereโs a couple of the things I do to stay motivated. Affirmations first thing in the morning when you wake up, write down your top 10 favorites and repeat. Put a goal of yours on your phones background, make a goal board, just set round yourself with what you want. Most importantly though you need a plan, and you have to execute that plan. Nothing in life is gifted, nothing comes easy and nothing is free. You have to work for it ๐ฏ

Todayโs chest pump was stupid! ๐ it was only a a quick 30min pump but I loved it! Shoulders are feeling great and it feels good to get pack to pushing some weight again! Iโve been sticking to my 40/40/20 diet and doing cardio for 30min 4/5 times per week! Time to get shredded and make 2021 my bitch! **kingo % ๐ฅ๐๐ฏ
