- In a world where everything is literally at our fingertips, find time to get up, get out, and MOVE! Instead of ordering in your groceries, your dinner, etc get in those steps!!

⏰ SCHEDULE YOUR WORKOUTS LIKE YOU SCHEDULE YOUR MEETINGS
- Put your workouts in to your calendar! Treat them like a meeting!

😴 GET UP EARLIER
- Getting your workout done first thing in the am ensures that no matter what else happens that day that may be out of your control, you were able to get in early and get it done!

πŸš— JOIN THE MOST CONVENIENT GYM POSSIBLE
- If you can’t make it half way across town to your favorite gym every day, maybe your apartment building/hoa has a gym, maybe there’s a small local gym down the road. MAKE IT EASY.

CrossFit founder, Coach Greg Glassman, said it best: β€œLearn the mechanics of fundamental movements; establish a consistent pattern of practicing these same movements, and, only then, ratchet up the intensity of workouts incorporating these movements."

Think of it like when you started driving, you didn't learn how to start the engine and jump right on the freeway! More than likely you started in a parking lot, learning the ins and out, adjusting your mirrors, how to reverse, getting comfortable with how the car works(MECHANICS). Once you started mastering the basics you were able to drive more frequently, you were able to get on streets, go through street lights, residential areas(CONSISTENCY). Then, and only then, when you mastered the first two did you bump up the INTENSITY and hop on the freeway!

Would you agree,Β nothing beatsΒ a hotΒ bowl of chiliΒ when there’s a chill in the air? Well, we have an easy, healthy white chicken chili recipe that will be sure to warm you up!

INGREDIENTS -

1 teaspoon Cumin
1 teaspoon oregano
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 can(4 oz) diced green chiles, undrained
1 onion
1 can(15 oz) corn , drained
1 can15oz) great northern beans, drained
1 cup chicken broth
1lb of chicken breasts
1 cup plain greek yogurt

INSTANT POT INSTRUCTIONS -

1. Do not sautΓ© and veggies or spices, place all of your ingredients in the instant pot.
2. Pressure Cook on high for 20 minutes.
3. Quick release, shred your chicken, add toppings of choice and ENJOY!


STOVE TOP INSTRUCTIONS -

1. In a large non-stick sauce pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add onions and pepper and saute for 3-4 minutes, until they begin to soften. Toss in the garlic and saute for an additional 30 seconds.Β 
2. Next, add the chicken and spices and saute until chicken is browned. Add the drained beans and corn, and the broth. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. (ADD an extra cup of broth if cooking on stove top)
3. Transfer about one-third of the chili into a food processor or blender, along with the Greek yogurt. Pulse or blend until well pureed. Add mixture back into saucepan and put over low heat until heated through.

We are seeking highly-motivated individuals who are interested in taking their coaching career to the next level. Become part of the largest CrossFit gym community in the valley, serving over 600 members!

Must Haves:

Current CrossFit Level 1 Certification
Current First Aid/CPR Certification
Growth mindset and a life-long learner
Positive attitude and enthusiastic personality
Passion for coaching and inspiring others
Ability to adapt to individual member needs and limitations

Ideal Applicant:

Current L2/L3 Certification
Previous CrossFit Coaching experience
Personal Training experience
Strong understanding of the CrossFit methodology
Self-starter, task oriented, and able to adapt to ever-changing environments
Confident in working with athletes at all levels, beginner to advanced

Hours/Schedule:

10-25+ hours/week (range depending on need and availability)
Both AM and PM hours are available (current need is primarily afternoons/evenings)
Looking for candidates for both our Tempe and Scottsdale locations, candidate may have opportunities to coach at multiple facilities

General Job Duties:

Lead and instruct group strength and conditioning classes in an upbeat, professional manner
Create a fun and engaging atmosphere while providing class attendees with feedback on their movement
Ensure members are checked into classes
Provide information about gym and services to walk-in customers
Light cleaning and general upkeep of gym and training area before/after classes
Perform member outreach to those who are struggling to make it in

In addition to instructing classes, there is opportunity for personal training. This is a growing service and if you are looking to build a book of clients, this is a great place for you!
