I am not sure if it was the builder or their contractors that applied the pebble tech to my pool. But from day one, we have had issues. The color of our pebble tech is not the color we chose. We were told that there are different variations of the color. We had areas that didn't have any pebble tech. Someone from the Arizona office just happened to be in the area and came by with the plastering company. Three patches were completed by the plastering company. Theses patches were totally different color and stood out. The pebble tech from day one has been coming off at an alarming rate. We were told that was normal, but large areas throughout the pool are missing the pebble tech. For the past two years rust and a lot of it have come through the pebble tech. Today my husband cleaned our filter and was able to fill a 2.5lb coffee can with pebble tech . This has happened on a regular bases. I do want to mention my pool is now getting old, however i had high expectations concerning the quality of pebble tech and I have never been happy with the quality, color and all the rusts coming through. I asked for help, but it never came.

We just had a wall staple repair completed on our pool with a PebbleTec finish. The original color is Tahoe blue and is 13 years old. The repair patches are very dark as compared to the current finish color. Is this normal to have the patched areas much darker, and will it fade lighter over time to more closely match to original color? I've attached an image that shows the patched areas and appreciate your feedback or suggestions.

I don't think you'll want to see pictures of how our PebbleSheen came out, but here goes. Aside from acid-wash streaks and various blotches from poor application, it's like sitting on broken glass in the hot tub... This was done by Classic Marcite of Jacksonville / Orlando over the winter. They just sent me a letter canceling the warranty because we refuse to pay them the last 10% due to our dissatisfaction and lying to me about leveling the spillway they installed (at least a 1/4 inch off-level, causing a crooked waterfall flow), which i had to use silicone to attempt to remedy by re-directing waterflow...

Classic Marcite refused to fix the crooked spillway, saying it could break. A few months later, we get a nasty-gram from them forfeiting our warranty and lying about trying to "contact us to no avail". I'm retired Law Enforcement, and my wife is a Mortgage Loan Company owner. We've had the same cell numbers for the past 2 years, and USPS still delivers...

While we loved our Pebblesheen pool in California, we are extremely displeased with our Florida home's application. Unfortunately, Classic Marcite of Jacksonville / Orlando was out only choice to use...

I left a message months ago with your Florida rep, but never received a call back. I left a message with your CEO today.

Might as well not have a warranty...
