Lineage.
Lineage means “ a line” and Pamana Tuhon Sayoc, Sr said a Sayoc member stays in the tribe because of a line of unbroken deeds.
Time Ranking.
As we stated at our last gathering. The lineup we do is an example of Deeds not by Time. We are not training a bunch of grapes waiting to age like bottles of wine, we are training them to own the vineyards.
No one pushes you to move forward, but no one ranks you higher because of time.
Deeds.
Everyone else who was once in Sayoc, we understand some want to be known to have been part of the system at one time. It offers them pedigree to the masses.
However, make no mistake that Sayoc’s core inner circle is still IN the system. We not only have instructors who trained in the 80’s but also the 90’s - on and NEVER left. Whatever anyone did, we all have done and years upon years more.
So logically one must realize, there were those whose expiration dates of willingness came and went. More power to them. They gather in social media and reminisce about the good old days.
Sayoc continues on.
Into the future.
We make everyday better than the last.
Not just in the glory days of our memories.
So those who still fan for the old ways, think about what deeds you will accomplish tomorrow.
Or just wait for what gets posted by Sayoc Kali and tell all you once walked with them.

Developed 15 years ago and often imitated: The Sayoc - Winkler Knives RnD Hawk has cleared the way for modern hawk use. Prior to the release of SAYOC hawk material in the early 2000’s, there was no FMA hawk curriculum taught.

SAYOC GLOBAL Congratulates GM Arnulfo “Dodong” Cuesta and Doce Pares Eskrima!

On the very first meeting between a young Pamana Tuhon Chris Sayoc, Sr and representatives of Doce Pares, GM Arnulfo “Dodong” Cuesta was there alongside SGM Dionisio Canete and SGM Cacoy Canete.

This originated a brotherhood between Sayoc and Doce Pares in the propagation of FMA.

The Sayoc Tribe congratulates Manong Dodong on his appointment as the new president and leader of Doce Pares Eskrima!

Hinduized / Madjapahit KAYANS arrived in the 14th century. Perhaps the first iron workers in Borneo. In the Philippines, the tribes / families of Kayan, ManKayan, Kayanan are all clustered more in the Northern region. Only the settlers of Kayangan Lake and a Datu Kayanan from the 1900’s were closer to the southern areas.
