Nexus Youth Soccer League

Wrapped up our spring season with the division tournaments on Saturday and it was a beautiful day for some soccer! All the players really gave it their all with one girls team and one boys team each taking home the championship. Way to go Houston Dynamo FC and St. Louis City SC! 🏆⚽️

Introducing our Spring 2026 coaching staff! There’s an incredible amount of talent and experience in just one photo. Some new to Nexus, some who have been with us since the beginning! They’re excited to share their passion for the game with their teams as they learn, grow, and play together over the next 8 weeks. Opening day is this Saturday!

When we launched Nexus in Fall 2024, we had a simple goal: create a place where kids who have aged out of other programs could play, grow, and fall in love with the game.

We set out to do things differently, to give our players and families more than the typical recreational soccer experience.

Fast forward to today… and for the first time ever, both our boys and girls divisions are completely full!

What makes this even more special is the incredible response to our First Season Free for Girls initiative. Seeing so many new girls step up and join our community has been nothing short of amazing. This program has exceeded every expectation we had.

We are excited to keep this momentum going into the next season and increase our field reservation so we can reach our goal of having 16 Nexus teams, 8 in each division. Thanks to your support, we know we can get there!

We cannot wait to kick this off and watch these players take the field!

It's spring soccer time in South Scottsdale! Registration is now open until January 26th so save your spot now. Everything you need to know is below. Spread the word, bring a friend and join our competitive rec soccer league!

Season Dates: February 9 – April 25, 2026

📍 Practices
When: Mondays, 2/9–4/20
Time: 5:30–7:00pm
Location: Paiute Park Soccer Field (3210 N 66th St, Scottsdale, AZ)

🏟️ Game Days
When: Saturdays, 2/21–4/25
Time: Between 9am–2pm
Location: Eldorado Soccer Field (2064 N 77th St, Scottsdale, AZ)

🏆 Tournament
End-of-season tournament on Saturday, April 25th. Champions take home a trophy!

Fee: $225
Includes:
• Full uniform kit (jersey, shorts, socks with name + number)
• Nexus practice tee
• US Soccer Grassroots certified coach
• 1 preseason scrimmage
• 8 regular season games with referees
• 11 weekly 90-min practices
• Single-elimination tournament
• Medal + champion trophy (for winners)

Players must bring a size 4 ball, proper footwear, shin guards, and practice attire.

Congratulations to our Fall 2025 NYSL Leadership Award recipients! Each season, our coaches select one player who demonstrated strong leadership for their team through encouragement, behavior, and sportsmanship, setting an example for the character that makes a great teammate. At Nexus, we focus on more than just developing a players love for the game, we help support them to become amazing people both on and off the pitch.

Congratulations to our Fall 2025 Nexus Boys and Girls Division Champions and to all our teams this season! What an incredible tournament weekend we had with close games, PKs to win it all, and even a couple upsets! Couldn’t ask for a better group of parents and players, we appreciate every one of you!
