What a difference a year makes! I had the privilege of training Lashk before he moved to Washington. Not only did he crush his fitness goals, but also got that confidence and glow that comes with getting stronger and healthier!
Sunday is my day of rest and self care! On the menu for today, is a pumpkin facial! Luckily my job requires me to maintain my physical fitness, but I need more than just the physical component. It’s no secret that when you feel good, you look good-and that’s why I invest money and time in my skincare routine. Shoutout to @skincarefactoryusa for providing me with products that are specific to my needs. I’ve been using their products for the past 7 years, and my skin has never looked better! What do you guys do for self care?
What kind of changes can you expect after 90 days of consistent exercise and healthy eating habits? Check out @flakitana81 -who just gave birth 90 days ago! She’s already dropped 20lbs of her baby weight and put on 2lbs of muscle! It’s definitely hard work, but you are worth it! If you guys need help getting started on a fitness routine, I got you! Welp, it’s officially , which means I have an excuse to share a photo from this past November! 😂I love this photo because 99.6 % of the time I don’t look like this, but it’s nice to remind myself, ok…you clean up nice!!🙌🙌 It’s a lot of effort and work to get dolled up all the time, so I’ve decided that 1 weekend a month, I’m going to get hooked up and honor the part of myself that enjoys it! What are some of the things you guys do for self care?
😹😹😹 That’s a great question! 🤔🤪 It’s all about balance for me. I have come to place where I'm completely comfortable and confident in my body! There was a time, where I would have really cut down on my carbs and trained 2x's a day to get abs-which isn't bad, but it was very stressful for me. ⏩ Flashfoward 10 years later, I now have found my sweet spot. I try to stay betweem 18-21% body fat range...allowing me to still eat what I want, but being able to cut back and still feel satiated and feeling confident in my own skin! 😄🙌 What do you guys do to keep your fitness/fun life in balance?

Hi! My name is Rebecca @rebeccaagabriel and I will be interning at The Fitness Joint for this fall. I am a senior at Arizona State University, and plan to graduate with a degree in Clinical Exercise Science. I love practicing yoga, running, strength training, and Pilates. I’ve decided, for my mental health, that I will be taking 1 weekend off per month to completely recharge. I’ve noticed how helpful it has been in improving my mood. Last month, I went to San Diego on a solo trip, feeling like dressing up, putting on makeup and being social and adventurous. This month, I went with a group of girls into the wilderness, homeless chic, hiked in nature and absorbed the scenic views and peace. These photos make me laugh because of the different energy I brought to each one😹 What do you do to keep a work life balance? -lifestyle
