With just 👆 day until the 2022 Guaranteed Rate Bowl, we look back at our favorite No. 1, hometown hero Larry Fitzgerald, who played in our 2002 bowl with Pittsburgh. Fitz was responsible for the first score of the game, a 40-yard touchdown reception, in the Panthers' 38-13 victory in the Arizona Diamondbacks’ ballpark.

It was just the beginning of the wideout's career in the Valley, as he would be drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in 2004 and spend his entire 17-year NFL career in Arizona.

Wisconsin Football spent their Christmas morning giving back, helping the Salvation Army serve meals to families in need, and play games with kids at the Phoenix Convention Center.

Bledsoe threw for a whopping 476 yards and two touchdowns, en route to becoming the Offensive Player of the Game and, later, the first overall pick in the 1993 NFL Draft by New England.

The Cougars’ QB went on to become the 1994 NFL passing leader (4,555 yards) and won a ring with the Patriots in Super Bowl ##.

We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Coach Mike Leach, one of the great personalities of college football.

We were honored to have Coach Leach in our game on two occasions, including a history-making win for Texas Tech, which overcame a 31-point deficit to win in overtime in 2006, the largest comeback in Bowl history.

Our condolences to his family and teams.
