✨ Today is the Day: GiveBIG! ✨
For the past week, We have been fundraising for Team Survivor Northwest, a community that helps women rebuild strength, confidence, and connection through movement. Because the reality is, while exercise can significantly improve quality of life and survivorship, most women don’t have access to the kind of support that makes it possible.
That’s where Team Survivor comes in, creating space for women to move, heal, and find community at every stage of their journey.
And the impact is real:
💜 $50 helps one woman access a full month of classes
💜 $100 supports a group strength training session
💜 $250 gets someone out on the water for a season of dragon boating
💜 $500 sends a woman to a life-changing fitness retreat
If you’re able to give or share, it would mean so much to us! Please, follow this link to donate: https://connect.clickandpledge.com/Organization/teamsurvivornw1/campaign/GiveBIG26/fundraiser/SurvivorSAKE/
Truly grateful for this community!

✨ GiveBIG is next Tuesday, May 5th! ✨
As many of you know, we are part of Team Survivor Northwest—an organization that helps women who have had a cancer diagnosis not just recover but truly thrive. 💜 Since 1995, Team Survivor has supported women through movement, community, and empowerment, and today offers a wide range of programs, including: online classes like Zumba, Pilates, and yoga; outdoor programs like dragon boating (that's us!!!), hiking, and cycling; a powerful weekend fitness retreat; and meaningful social events. Us, the dragon boaters are incredibly lucky to have the support of TSNW. This year, we are helping raise $36,000 to keep these programs accessible to all women who need them. Will you join us in supporting this incredible organization? Click on the link to donate. Everything helps! https://connect.clickandpledge.com/Organization/teamsurvivornw1/campaign/GiveBIG26/fundraiser/SurvivorSAKE/
Thank you so much—it truly means a lot! 💜

Thank you, Sandra Clark for being such an amazing captain for Survivor Sake in 2024-2025!
Sandra's words: "Some of the best parts of being co-captain of the Survivor dragon boat team was working with my two co-captains - Kathy and Andrea - and learning so much about both Team Survivor Northwest and Club SAKE Dragon Boat and Paddling Club. I understand how it all works so much better now. Going in, I thought that this might be true. What was unexpected, however, is how much I came to care for this team. Now, I feel very protective and invested in Team Survivor paddlers and all that we bring to each other. What a truly amazing group of women! It's so fun to be part of this team. Now, I look forward to padding, hanging out, competing, chanting, supporting, grabbing coffee, chit-chatting...the list goes on :-). Thank you, Team Survivor, for this honor. Paddles up!"
