A nice walk on a brisk day! One of my goals for this year is to wear more colorful clothing - so far so good! Glad for a little break in the rain yesterday and today in the PNW!

Hi Friends 🤍

Sending the warmest holiday wishes from our home to yours.

May you be healthy. May you be happy. May you live with ease; today and in all the days ahead. And may the New Year be gentle and good to you and those you love.

I’m spending the holiday on a little getaway with Heather (my wife of 15 years and truly one of the best humans on the planet - I’d argue THE BEST) and we’ll gather with family once we’re back in Olympia. I’ve been up to my chin in wrapping paper, making little goodies, and trying to recreate some of the magic my late parents once made for us. I can’t wait to see my sister, Katie, and her kiddos.

🥧I hope you ate (or will eat) something downright delicious.
😹I hope you laughed hard enough that your belly hurt just a little.
✨And I hope at least one thing went really well for you today.

As we head into the New Year, please know you - and your friends, family, pets, and all your most loved people - are truly in my thoughts. 💛

And very gently, loosely tied into all of this holiday wishing…
Today is the last day to join Strength Camp at the $1,111 special.

This isn’t about a sale so much as it is about a wish. A wish that more people who want support, community, and kind, inclusive movement can say yes.

Strength Camp begins January 5th and is gentle, weight-neutral, inclusive, and deeply supportive. You can use this offer (special sale of $1,111 for a 10 week camp) for one camp or up to four, and payment plans are available. If you’ve been considering it and have questions, I’m here today—then I’ll be off on vacation until January 2nd, before we begin together.

If it feels right, you’re warmly invited.
And if now isn’t the time, I’m still wishing you so much goodness.

With strength, bravery, and kindness; always,

Stacey 🤍

Hi friend,

My Mom, Jan, had a habit of making a wish (or saying a prayer) every time she caught the clock at 11:11. She'd catch it almost every morning and sometimes a second time in the evening.

She’d close her eyes for just a moment and send it out into the world. Sending good thoughts to those she loved, hoping for good things, making wishes. I picked this habit up (along with her love of writing cards, and continue both daily) .

Since she passed, I think of her every time I see those numbers; it feels like a wink, a pause, a reminder to breathe.

I see 11:11 almost every day on the clock - but I ALSO see it when I'm out walking, on mailboxes, on signs. I feel grateful every time I run across those numbers because they may me think of those sweet moments with Mom.

With Mom's birthday approaching in January, and as we head into a new year, I wanted to honor her in a way that feels meaningful and aligned with my heart.

So for a limited time, I’m offering Strength Camp for $1,111.

This isn’t about a sale - so much as it’s about a wish.

My hope is that more people who want to be part of this community are able to join us.

Strength Camp begins on January 5th and is gentle, inclusive, weight-neutral, and deeply supportive.

You’ll be met exactly where you are, with options, care, and community.

This offering will be available through December 24.

If you’ve been feeling curious…

If this feels like a little nudge…

If you are also grieving this holiday season...

If 11:11 has ever meant something to you too.....

You’re warmly invited.

With Strength, Bravery, and Kindness,

Stacey Sorgen

Hi there, I’m Stacey!

For almost 16 years, I’ve had the honor of helping people move in ways that feel good, doable, and truly supportive. I started at a big box gym, thrn went independent, then became a brick-and-mortar gym owner in Seattle in late 2014. Like so many small business owners in 2020, COVID changed everything overnight and I had to close my gym. I shifted my entire world online… and what surprised me most is how deeply this virtual community bloomed.

Now I get to work with people from all over — Massachusetts, Maui, Puerto Vallarta, St. Croix, New York, Atlanta, Boise, Seattle, New Zealand — each bringing their own stories, histories, and hopes for feeling stronger and more at home in their bodies. It’s been one of the greatest gifts of my life.

My approach to movement is a little different from the traditional fitness world, and I’m proud of that. I’ve been honored to be a recognized member and/or student of the Body Positive Fitness Alliance, ASDAH, and the Center for Body Trust. I collaborate closely with surgeons, PTs, doctors, therapists, and dietitians who have divested from the diet industrial complex. Most of the people I support are navigating something big - joint replacements, MS, Parkinson’s, chronic illness, old injuries, deep transitions, grief - things that make typical gym spaces feel off-limits or unsafe. I’m a real persn ALSO navigating my ohysical and mental health challenges, grief and the ups and downs of life. I meet every person exactly where they are because that’s where real connection and trust begin.

I’ve been coaching virtually since 2019 — individuals, groups, and organizations like Adobe, EXOS, and Inviso. Even online, I make sure every person feels seen and cared for: individualized attention, one-on-one time with me, and a community that shows up for each other with kindness, humor, and encouragement.

If you’re looking for a virtual space that’s weight-neutral, inclusive, gentle, and focused on what we gain when we move — strength, confidence, community, breath, grounding, self-trust — then I’d love to welcome you into Strength Camp or invite you to schedule a complimentary consultation. I’d be honored to learn more about your story and explore how I can support you.

Warmly,
Stacey

Ps. Our next camp begins January 5th and runs for 10 weeks!
