As the owner of a small business, you have the ability to invite your clients to look beyond the bottom line, to put people before profit, and to prioritize the Earth. But doing so requires you to be a different kind of accountant—one that breaks the stereotype that we’re just a bunch of bean-counting, number crunchers.

Instead, I invite you to step into your role as a strategic advisor, asking a different set of questions, measuring environmental impact, and holding CEOs accountable to a different set of standards.
