Do you know when you should be packing crampons?
On winter adventures, it's important that you remember crampons (or ice cleats, if you will!) Here are a few instances where you should put your crampons on:
- When the snow becomes much firmer
- The slope angle increases
- If you want to travel more efficiently without having to kick as many steps
- If you happen to be doing any glacier exploring
Once you are on even ground, or the snow has softened, you can find a safe, flat spot to remove them!
Share with us your favourite brand of crampons ⬇️
