Have you ever played the when/then game with your happiness?
I'll be happy when-
I get the promotion
I find a partner
I lose the weight
I hit # # # in my bank account
Most of us have, and it's natural to feel a moment of joy, pride, or relief when we finally achieve our goals.
But let's face it - that feeling doesn't last long.
Before we know it, we're back to chasing the next thing, thinking, "I'll be happy THEN."
It's a never-ending cycle that leaves us feeling unfulfilled and restless.
But what if we stopped chasing happiness and started savoring those special moments instead? Even the tiny ones.
When we take the time to acknowledge and appreciate those moments, we can increase our feelings of happiness in the present and train ourselves to spot more of those moments more easily.
And guess what? Your happiness will become more unconditional, increasingly based on an inner level of satisfaction rather than on external circumstances.
You don't have to wait for happiness, you can create it today. 💫

I started hiking regularly a few years ago because my daughter enjoyed it and it gave us a chance to connect.
We hit the trails weekly and it quickly became my favorite part of the week.
Talking about everything and nothing for hours at a time felt like heaven to me.
Last year, things shifted a bit. I started exploring the trails by myself, multiple times a week as a form of exercise for both me and my 🐶. But mostly my dog 😬
There’s a tremendous sense of accomplishment when you get back to the car tired, hungry and covered in dirt.
And even though I’m only a few hikes in to the season, I can already feel another shift happening.
I’ll be spending more time on the trail as a way to shift my energy, access answers when I feel stuck and to tap into creativity that has been stifled by the same ole same ole routine.
There’s always been a strong why for me and it’s so fun to watch that why evolve.
Why do you hike?
I’d love for you to share with me in the comments 👇🏻

When we believe in ourselves, we don’t need other people to buy in on our dreams. ✨

I led a workshop a few weeks ago for 80 women and at the end of our time together I asked them what their biggest take away was.
"You are not alone" was the most impactful thing I said for many of these women.
It's easy in today's world to feel like everyone has it together but us.
It can feel like we are the only ones struggling with self doubt or overwhelm.
Feeling alone, unloved or completely burnt out.
If this is you too, reach out to someone and tell them how you're feeling. Let them know they are not alone. And you aren't either. ❤️
We don't need solutions as much as we need connection and community right now.

It's not about maximizing my time so I can check more and more tasks off my list.
It's not about making as much money as I can.
I want to be as creative, efficient and productive as possible while I'm working so I can have more time to experience life, connection and adventure everyday.
What motivates you?

If you've ever had a sleepless night, you know how terrible it feels to watch the clock tick....tick....tick.... knowing that you've got a full day ahead and you need to be on your A game.
Did you know that women are 50% more likely to experience anxiety than men? 🤯
And we are also 50% more likely to have sleep issues.
While there are a lot of factors at play, one of the reasons for both anxiety and inability to sleep is women tend to ruminate over their problems. (hi, it's me)
As a coach for high achieving women for the last 8 years I've explored a lot of different tools to help my clients calm their racing thoughts and as an inconsistent sleeper myself, I know first hand which ones have a pretty high success rate.
If you'd like to have a few tools in your toolbox for your next sleepless night, you'll want to download The Nighttime Anxiety Fix PDF.
The Nighttime Anxiety Fix includes my top 5 techniques to help you put an end to the racing thoughts so you can rest easy, and each technique takes only a few minutes to do.
And because racing thoughts can happen any time, you can use these whenever you find yourself stuck in stress mode.
You'll find the link for The NightTime Anxiety Fix in the first comment below.
Don't waste another day being exhausted and anxious!

How many things are you consistently doing out of habit? Or because it’s what someone you admire is doing?
The Pareto Principle shows us that 80% of our results come from 20% of our efforts. 🤯
Imagine how much more growth and expansion you could experience if you
💥 identified your 20% and did MORE of that
💥delegated or eliminated the rest
You’d have more space, more free time, more ease, more success and most likely a lot more fun.

I’ve gone deep into reflection mode over here and these are THE three
questions I start with as I plan every new year:
1️⃣ what have you been doing that’s working? What activities are bringing in consistent 💰, what people fill your cup? What foods, exercises and hobbies make you feel your best? How can you
do more of these?
2️⃣ What have you been giving your time and energy to that isn’t creating the results you want? What relationships feel like too much work? What relaxation tools aren’t all that relaxing? It’s time to ✂️ those out to create space for things that you want to add in. Energy is precious-use it wisely.
3️⃣ How many times are you willing to fail to accomplish your goals? Imagining ways you might fail ahead of time eill take the sting out of it and will also signal to your nervous system that it’s not a problem.
Practice “if this, then that” thinking.
If this happens then I will do that in order to keep going.
Save this for your new year planning session and share it with your high achieving friends!

I’ve been blessed with so many amazing opportunities because I surround myself with women who intentionally lift each other up.
So much gratitude for and for lifting me up and encouraging me to step out of my comfort zone and become the woman I am proud to be. ♥️

Scenes from a hike. 🥾🏔️
Man made or some weird animal munching marks?
A sign from above?
I’ll never know.

We could all use a little more happiness these days so I’ve decided to pick one thing each day that makes me happy and post it here.
I’d love it if you’d join me!
Post one pic a day for a day, a week or forever 🤣 either in your stories or your feed and tag me
Let’s get a happiness train going ♥️
Today’s is my sweet little pup Kole. There was a time when his reactivity had us considering euthanasia but the hard work, patience, determination, multiple trainers and puppy Prozac is paying off and has enabled this guy to live his best life.
Happy Birthday Buddy. Here’s to many more 🎉🎂🖤

Every successful leader I know is committed to personal growth FIRST.
Hearing no or receiving constructive feedback is HARD but when you are able to see it as helpful instead of hurtful, you will be able to level up more confidently and comfortably.
It’s all just information that will help you get where you want to go FASTER than if you try to go it alone.
And remember you are on YOUR own journey and it may not look like anyone else’s. The sooner you can put your head down and your blinders on, the easier and more enjoyable the journey will become.
The better you get at these things, the better you get.
